Animal Defense League said this kitten was found in a sewer. They couldn't hold him without wrapping him up in a towel because he would hiss. He needed a foster family to help "socialize" him. I did hesitate when I found out. I didn't know if I was up for the task. My first priority is to my cat and dog. How he would react to them, etc.
He turned out to be the cuddliest kitten I've ever met. The first week, we carried him around like a newborn. He would hiss when we would try to pick him up. That behavior went away. He loved my cat. He was still learning how to love my dog.
The days before he went back to ADL, he would jump on me and want to cuddle. He would purr so loud. I was sad when ADL said he was ready to be adopted. I thought we had a few more weeks with him. I hope he found a great home. He really was the best kitten ever. The hardest to photograph because he would love to play.
